BCR and Erste Group provide EUR 58.5 million financing for Greenvolt Power’s 49.8 MW onshore wind project in Romania

BCR contributes EUR 29.25 million to support renewable energy development in Săcele

Bucharest, 04 February 2026 – Banca Comercială Română (BCR) provided a EUR 29.25 million financing for Greenvolt Power, part of Greenvolt Group, a global developer of large-scale wind, solar, and battery energy storage. The company is developing a 49.8 MW onshore wind project located in Săcele, Constanta county, with construction expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2026.

The total financing amounts EUR 58.5 million and is jointly provided by BCR and Erste Group Bank AG. As part of the transaction, BCR is contributing EUR 29.25 million, alongside complementary financing components supporting the project’s construction and operational phase.
