BREAKING. New all-time highs on the Bucharest Stock Exchange / Bursa de Valori Bucuresti (BVB). The BET-TR index, which also includes dividends, exceeded the 30,000-point threshold for the first time in history, and the BET index, which reflects the price performance of the 20 most traded companies, reached a new all-time high.
At the end of the trading session on November 6th, the BET-TR index showed a level of 30,101 points, after an increase of 0.8% compared to the previous session. With a similar percentage increase, the BET index closed the trading session at 14,576 points, the highest level ever reached since its launch in 1997.
This year alone, BET-TR had an increase of almost 33% compared to the level at the end of last year. The BET index is up 25% so far this year.
BET-TR was launched in September 2012, it was the first total return type index launched by the Bucharest Stock Exchange / Bursa de Valori Bucuresti (BVB) and it was built on the structure of the BET index. The BET-TR index reflects both the price evolution of the component companies and the dividends offered by these issuers.
BET (Bucharest Exchange Trading Index) is the first index developed by the BVB and reflects the evolution of the 20 most traded companies on the regulated market of BVB.
