Launched on June 10th, the reconstruction of the Unirii Slab marks the beginning of one of the largest and most complex urban infrastructure projects undertaken in Romania over the past three decades. Located in the heart of the capital, the Unirii Slab is a critical mobility hub, directly impacting the functionality and connectivity of the city center.

The reconstruction aims not only to reinforce a key structure in Bucharest’s road network, but also to transform it into a modern, safe, and efficient urban space.
