Defence Minister’s meeting with the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy

Minister of National Defence, Angel Tîlvăr, had a bilateral meeting with the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, on Monday, April 28, in Brussels, the MApN stated in a press release sent to NINE O’CLOCK on Monday,

During the talks, the common vision on the need to consolidate the European Union’s role as a strategic actor in the Eastern Neighborhood was reconfirmed. Minister Angel Tîlvăr has emphasized the fact that Romania shares the position expressed by the High Representative on the continued support to Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova, as well as the importance of maintaining a clear European perspective for these states, but also for the countries of the Western Balkans.
