EXCLUSIVE NEPI Rockcastle to develop two new solar parks in Romania with a total investment of 70 million euros

NEPI Rockcastle is moving forward with its green energy strategy in Romania. Following the inauguration of its first solar park in Arad County with an installed capacity of 54 MW, the company has announced the development of two additional photovoltaic projects in Prahova County.

“We are preparing two new solar projects in Prahova County — the first with a capacity of 59 MW and the second with 47 MW. These are neighboring projects; the first will be completed by the end of this year, while the second is scheduled for completion at the end of 2026 and will be connected to the grid no later than 2027,” said Andrei Radu, Group Development Director, NEPI Rockcastle, in an interview for The Diplomat-Bucharest.
