Finance Ministry launches new edition of FIDELIS government bonds

Individuals over 18 years old can subscribe to securities denominated in RON and EUR through BT Capital Partners & Banca Transilvania, BCR, BRD, Alpha Bank, and TradeVille, in partnership with Libra Bank.

The April 2025 edition includes a special tranche for blood donors, who will receive the highest interest rate on offer – 7.60% for bonds maturing in 1 year. Donors can subscribe with a minimum threshold of just RON 500, compared to RON 5,000 for other investors, with a maximum cap of RON 100,000. Those who have donated blood since October 1, 2024, are eligible.

For other investors, the issue includes RON-denominated securities with maturities of 1, 3, and 5 years, offering interest rates of 6.60%, 7.30%, and 7.60%, respectively. There are also EUR-denominated securities with maturities of 2 and 7 years, with annual interest rates of 3.60% and 6%, respectively.
