In Stare de Bine at 6 Years: Over 6 Million Euros Allocated to NGOs for Projects Reaching a Quarter of Romania’s Population

• In Stare de Bine, one of the largest annual private funding programs in Romania, implemented by the Foundation for the Development of Civil Society (FDSC) with the support of Kaufland, has reached its 6th anniversary. Over this period, the program has provided non-refundable grants worth 6.2 million euros to NGOs in Romania, enabling in-depth interventions in vulnerable communities.
• The interventions have focused on three areas: culture, sports, and healthy living. Cultural, educational-recreational, sports, medical, and health education activities have taken place over more than 45,000 hours—the equivalent of walking around the Earth at a leisurely pace 4-5 times.
