BRD Groupe Société Générale was awarded on Thursday, November 30, in London, by the British magazine ”The Banker”, part of the “Financial Times” group, the title of ”Bank of the Year in Romania” in 2023.

Founded in 1926, The Banker is a globally recognized financial publication focusing on banking and financial markets. The Banker Awards recognize the best performing financial institutions and the best banks in over 100 countries.

Among the criteria that counted in the designation of BRD as Bank of the Year in Romania are financial performance, adaptability to the economic environment, quality of strategic partnerships with clients, competitiveness, use of technology, innovation and diversification of growth strategy, new products and services.
