Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan and the Minister for Development, Public Works, and Administration, Cseke Attila, continued consultations with representatives of local public authorities regarding the package of measures for local administration reform, currently being prepared at the government level.
Today’s discussions at Victoria Palace focused on measures to increase the efficiency of local government, including reducing the number of employees, limiting local police officers, avoiding overlapping responsibilities between local and national police, and exploring the possibility for a civil servant to split their work hours between two or even three municipalities.
