Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, H.E. Woo Won-shik, and South Korean Ambassador to Romania, H.E. Rim Kap-soo, paid a high-level visit on Saturday to the Cernavoda Nuclear Power Plant, accompanied by senior representatives from Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP). The visit was hosted by Nuclearelectrica, Romania’s national nuclear energy company and operator of the facility.
Nuclearelectrica announced that the visit marks a key moment in the strategic partnership between Romania and the Republic of Korea, reflecting shared democratic values, technological excellence, and a unified vision for a sustainable energy future.
