The International Ballet Gala “Balanchine’s Legacy”, taking place at Sala Palatului on Wednesday, February 11, at 8:00 PM, brings to Bucharest the very essence of modern ballet as envisioned by George Balanchine, the choreographer who redefined 20th-century dance and laid the foundations of American modern ballet. Rightly regarded as the most eagerly awaited cultural event of the year’s beginning in Romania, the “Balanchine’s Legacy” Ballet Gala will be hosted by actress Ada Condeescu, with numerous prominent public figures from across the country expected to attend.
