Since competition is a vital mechanism of the economy, complying with competition regulations plays a very important role in ensuring a healthy competitive environment.This encourages efficiency and innovation and reduces prices. Also, companies are encouraged to provide consumer goods and services in the most favorable terms

Markets do not always work efficiently, harming the economy, consumers and society. When this happens, the competition authorities check what is happening in those sectors in order to understand the dynamics of competition in those sectors, and thus they can identify the reasons for the poor functioning of the sector and recommend various policies or actions to solve the problems.

Therefore, competition policies must be known and understood by all those involved in the economy. Companies must know both the ways in which they can be protected by the legislation in case they become victims of anti-competitive practices, but also what are the sanctions they can receive if they decide to violate the rules. It is very important for both the business environment and individuals to know these regulations.

Therefore, law firms, companies and associations in various business sectors deserve recognition for contributing to a healthy competitive environment.

PRIA COMPETITION GALA, the first gala ever organized in Romania for competition, the most important competition event in Romania acknowledged the success and contribution of those law firm, companies and associations that contributed to maintaining a healthy competitive environment in Romania.
