Transelectrica, TAQA, Meridiam, and E-INFRA welcome the successful completion of the feasibility study for the High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) interconnector

Transelectrica, TAQA, Meridiam, and E-INFRA welcome the successful completion of the feasibility study for the High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) interconnector linking the Black Sea to Hungary. Conducted by CESI, the study confirms both the technical feasibility and economic rationale for the planned underground transmission system. The project is supported by the Romanian Ministry of Energy and aligns with European objectives to enhance grid resilience and integrate renewable sources.
