WIN Gallery, part of WIN Alliance, announces the vernissage of its new exhibition, “Values and Virtues”
WIN Gallery invites you to explore different representations of values and virtues, viewed as segments of human and cultural DNA. The artworks can be admired and purchased beginning Friday, December 8.
To celebrate its first year in the art world, WIN Gallery proposes a group exhibition of painting, sculpture and tapestry built around two central and irelated topics: Values and Virtues.
Copyright Cristian BucurThe exhibition coincides with an important moment for the WIN Gallery team: the inception of WIN Alliance, a common thought and action platform for all our business divisions. Our objective is to generate connections that acceleate our journey toward a better, more harmonious and prosperous future. WIN Alliance integrates real estate development with art, as well as other initiatives that we will announce in December.
December also marks our union, as Romanians, into one nation. It seems, therefore, all the more appropriate to celebrate the values that bring us closer, spiritually and geographically. On this occasion, WIN Gallery launched an itinerant exhibition in Spain, contributing to cultural diplomacy and awareness.
Copyright Cristian BucurWIN Gallery’s present exhibition, curated by Marinela Măntescu-Isac, surrounds the idea of relevance. What we consider important – individually and as a civilization – is reflected in our yearnings and behaviors. Art plays an interesting role not only because it is desirable and expressible in money, but also because it is an alternative to it. The need and pleasure for art are inexhaustible and timeless, perhaps as old as the idea of human community itself, if we take into account the caves of Lascaux or Altamira. Obviously, these particularities place it in the category of “fundamentals”. Human aspirations are always juxtaposed to the means of materialization and from the spectrum of possibilities, cultivating virtues appears to offer the greatest chance of success.
The paintings, sculptures and tapestries selected by Ms. Măntescu-Isac weave different representations of values and virtues as if they were a segment of DNA belonging to peoples and cultures.
Copyright Cristian BucurWe offer a festive collection with a deep meaning, through which we can rejoice, remember, and enrich ourselves with precious and priceless things. The inauguration of the “Values and Virtues” exhibition took place on December 7 and was marked by a private event. From December 8, all works are available for sale and the gallery is open to the public from Monday to Friday, between 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., upon prior reservation, which can be made, contacting us at: [email protected] and maria.silivastru @psc-group.ro.
