The Gala evening opened with a solemn moment that visibly moved those present at the event, the performance of the National Anthem of Romania by the renowned soloist Alexandru Ștefan Constantin, designated interpreter of the National Anthem of Romania, at the December 1st Parade of the Ministry of National Defense, chosen for other dedicated activities of the Ministry of National Defense.
The 2nd edition of the News Newspaper Gala took place on Thursday, November 9, at the Parliament of Romania, Nicolae Iorga Hall. All funds raised at the News Newspaper Gala – Charity for Education 2023 will be used in 2024 to support education through the initiation and implementation of innovative programs, the granting of support scholarships, and the development of national projects aimed at giving children and young people from disadvantaged communities the chance to access education, a right established by the Constitution of Romania.
“If the family is the basic unit of society, then EDUCATION is the nucleus! I believe that the role of the press is to get involved in educational, social, and humanitarian projects that add value to the society we live in. We aim to become architects of change, to build bridges to knowledge and opportunities where hope begins to fade. It is an honor for us to be supported by leaders who recognize that a well-educated workforce is the backbone of progress. By awarding excellence in business, we contribute to the cohesion of the Romanian entrepreneurial environment, create and develop business relationships and mutual support, promote economic interests for a fair, predictable, and stable business environment. And under the power of the word TOGETHER, we want to continue to support the educational process and its vectors, to empower them and provide material support while they write the story of progress, chapter by chapter. Congratulations to all Education Ambassadors and much success in continuing to support and develop the educational process,” said Florina Manea, the founder of ZIARUL NEWS, at the opening of the Gala.
